That’s me, Julie. I’m a Professional Organizer and Declutterer, a Graphic Designer with 25+ years of experience, and a Pet and House Sitter who loves animals.
I left the corporate design world a few years ago to pursue work that had a more direct impact on people’s lives while controlling my own schedule. I started working with older people needing to get to appointments and needing help with activities of daily living. It was a fulfilling job and one I may pursue again. In 2018 I shifted my focus to my terminally ill mother and her care. After her passing, returning to elder care felt overwhelming. I took some time to figure out next steps.
By chance, I discovered a passion I didn’t know I had while dog sitting at a dear friend’s house: Organizing and Decluttering. It was a “lightbulb moment” when I realized I was intentionally getting up early to plan her project. And you know what? She loved the results and I loved the process! Better yet, I was able to spend down time with her amazing dog, George.
After that week I pursued a certification in Professional Organizing. I continue to pet sit for my friend and have added 8 more pets to my schedule. And, having the skills and software of a Graphic Designer, I’m happy to oblige anyone who asks.

50+ Years ACCUMULATING THINGS
I owned an 1,100 SF house filled with things, which I took to a 780 SF condo where I had to get rid of a few things. These things had to be sorted before I could move into my 450 SF apartment. When my mom got sick, I kept only the things that fit in my hatchback.
I know the pain, work, and fear of downsizing and getting rid of things.
DRIVEN TO MOVE
I love moving about. I walk fast, eat fast, and drink fast. I’m driven to getting things done. Dirty dishes? Books out of place? Socks lying around? I’m on it; I’m ready to make a difference. If you catch me sitting it’s because I’m waiting for a job to begin or relaxing after a busy day.
I know how much energy it takes to get rid of things or care for a pet.
I LOVE TO HELP
It’s true – I get an extra boost of joy when people compliment me for making their lives easier by giving them systems for their things, easing their minds when leaving their pets, or designing an invite or website to their delight. Giving to others feels good.
I know how much it means to trust someone with your cherished things.
